Jetour T1 PHEV & T2 2.0 XWD Launch Pakistan

Fuel prices keep rising. City traffic eats into range. And many buyers still want a tough-looking SUV that can handle both daily drives and weekend trips. Jetour has stepped into that space with two new models.

On 27 August 2026, Jetour Pakistan (in partnership with United Group of Industries) held a launch event at Expo Centre Lahore. The company officially unveiled the T1 i-DM plug-in hybrid and the T2 2.0 XWD petrol variant. These two complete the T-Series family and give Pakistani buyers clearer choices between efficiency and pure petrol power.

The T1 targets people who want lower running costs without giving up size or features. The T2 petrol aims at those who prefer a conventional turbo engine with intelligent all-wheel drive. Both share the same boxy, rugged design language that stands out on local roads.

Jetour T1 i-DM PHEV: Hybrid Power for Daily Use and Longer Trips

The T1 sits slightly smaller than the T2 but still offers solid road presence. It uses a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with an electric motor and an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate battery. Combined output reaches 340 horsepower and 530 Nm of torque.

Pure electric range is listed at 100 km under NEDC testing. Total combined range with the fuel tank climbs to about 1,200 km. Drivers can choose from several modes: Sport, Economy, Standard, Snow, EV and HEV. DC fast charging can top the battery from low to high in roughly half an hour.

Inside, the cabin focuses on technology and comfort. A 15.6-inch touchscreen handles most functions. A nine-speaker Sony audio system is standard. Safety equipment includes six airbags, Level 2 ADAS and a 540-degree camera system. Ventilated seats and a panoramic sunroof appear on the feature list as well.

Jetour T2 2.0 XWD Petrol: Stronger Engine and All-Wheel Drive

The T2 is the larger of the two. It measures 4,785 mm long, 2,006 mm wide and 1,880 mm high, with the same 2,800 mm wheelbase as the T1. Power comes from a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 244 hp and 375 Nm of torque. A seven-speed dual-clutch transmission and intelligent XWD (all-wheel drive) send power to the wheels.

Multiple terrain modes cover sand, rock, snow, mud and normal driving. An optional Dominator Kit adds exterior armour and styling upgrades.

The interior mirrors the T1 in many ways but steps up the audio to a 12-speaker Sony system. The same 15.6-inch screen, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, six airbags, Level 2 ADAS and 540-degree camera are present.

The earlier T2 i-DM PHEV (launched in July 2026) sits at Rs 12.795 million with 360 hp and 610 Nm. It offers a middle path for buyers who want hybrid efficiency in the larger body.

Pricing and Booking Amount

Now for the part everyone’s waiting for: pricing. Here are the ex-factory prices and booking amounts for all the new T1 and T2 variants launched today.

Bookings for both variants are open from tomorrow.

Surprisingly, the T2’s petrol variant is more expensive than its PHEV counterpart, which isn’t common. Usually, PHEV trims cost more than petrol trims in the Pakistani market. The Dominator kit also adds on to its price, for a total of Rs 1.559 crore for those who opt for it.

Either way, at its Rs 1.359 crore price, the T2 petrol goes head-to-head with the Toyota Fortuner V and Kia Sorento V6, both petrol-powered SUVs. The Fortuner V comes with a 2.7-liter engine and costs Rs 1.49 crore, just 14 lac more than the T2.

The Kia Sorento V6, meanwhile, comes with a 3.5-liter petrol engine and is priced almost identically at Rs 1.36 crore. Beyond these, the rest of the SUVs in the market are either smaller than the T2 or use HEV or PHEV powertrains.

For the T1, the company said it will announce its price after the auto policy, but bookings are open with a 20 lac payment.

What This Means for Pakistani Buyers

Pakistan’s SUV buyers have long faced a trade-off. Pure petrol models like the Fortuner deliver proven reliability but higher fuel bills. Full electric options still face charging gaps outside major cities. Plug-in hybrids such as the T1 and the existing T2 PHEV try to bridge that gap.

The T1’s claimed 100 km electric range covers many daily city runs if the owner can charge overnight. The 1,200 km combined figure reduces the need for frequent fuel stops on intercity trips. The T2 petrol, meanwhile, removes battery concerns entirely while adding intelligent all-wheel drive for rougher roads or monsoon conditions.

Both models arrive with modern safety and tech features that were once limited to more expensive Japanese or Korean SUVs. Level 2 ADAS, the 540-degree camera and large screens raise the baseline for the segment. After-sales support and parts availability will matter just as much as the launch specs. The T2 petrol at Rs 13.59 million undercuts some established rivals while offering solid power and equipment. The T1’s final price will decide how strongly it challenges other hybrids already in the market.

Visit an authorised Jetour dealership from tomorrow to place a booking. The T2 needs a Rs 30 lac down payment. The T1 needs Rs 20 lac while its full price stays pending. Delivery schedules should follow the pattern set by the earlier T2 PHEV, which started deliveries a few months after its own launch.
