The end of this year is going to be remarkable. Punjab’s Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz is taking charge of every department very keenly. She was chairing a meeting of major departments and advised the official to improve and speed up every project across the province.

Electric Buses to Hit the Roads Soon

Massive events are happening. Wait for December, when the whole of Punjab's roads will be rushing with 1115 electric buses. CM Punjab Maryam Nawaz advises the Deputy Commissioners to speed up all the procedures professionally.. She also approved a uniform bus stop design and a district-wise rollout plan for the upcoming EV program.

She gave the green light to start work early on the Super Autonomous Rapid Transit (SRT) project, another major leap toward modern, eco-friendly public transport.

Cleaner Water, Better Cities

The Chief Minister pointed out that WASA’s coverage has expanded from 5 to 19 cities while reviewing the Housing and Urban Development Department. She showed courage with plans to reach 25 districts by the end of this year. She also ordered strict monitoring of over 5,000 water filtration plants to make sure people have access to clean drinking water.

Development That Reaches Every Village

The revolutionary infrastructure programme, Maryam Nawaz, by 472 villages are going to become model villages across Punjab. Plus, she directed officials to kick off the Placer Gold Project, it is a good step toward growing together to bring direct economic benefits to local communities.
