New Electric Scooters at PAPS 2026: Prices, Range & Specs

Petrol goes up. Petrol comes down a little. Then it goes up again. If you ride a scooty every day, you feel every one of those changes.

That is why the electric scooters at this year's Pakistan Auto Show got so much attention. The show ran from September 18 to 20 at the Expo Centre in Lahore, and it brought together parts makers, car companies and other industry players. But cars grabbed the headlines. The scooters quietly may matter more to daily riders.

Two brands launched full lineups. OKLA showed nine models. EcoDost, working with Motopai, launched five. Together that is 14 scooters, and prices run from Rs 199,000 to Rs 699,000. Below is each one, with the numbers I could verify and the gaps you should ask about.

Every range and top speed below is a claim from the brand. Real riding is different. One buyer guide suggests real range in mixed city traffic is usually 60 to 70 percent of the stated figure. That matches what many riders report.

Also, some specs vary between sources. OKLA is refreshing parts of its range for the show, so a few models differ from what its website listed earlier. Where I found a mismatch, I say so.

OKLA: Nine Scooters, Three Price Zones

OKLA announced prices for nine models between Rs 199,000 and Rs 699,000. Think of the range in three zones. The first is the low-cost city zone (ORA to OMIGO). The second is the mid-power zone (OVA and OKG Hub 2000). The third is the premium zone (OKG Mid Motor and both OMAX models).

OKLA ORA: The New Entry Point

The ORA is the cheapest scooter in the lineup and it is aimed at short city trips. It has a small 400W motor, so do not expect speed.

OKLA ORBIT: Simple and Cheap

The ORBIT costs Rs 225,000 and keeps things basic. Charging takes about 7 to 8 hours on a 5A charger. One source says OKLA's own website shows a different battery and range for this model, so ask which version you are getting.

OKLA ONYX: Two Versions Under One Name

The ONYX is priced at Rs 249,000 and is shown in two technical setups. One uses a 64V battery and the other a 74V battery. The torque changes too, between 92 Nm and 106 Nm. Brakes also differ by version. So before you pay, confirm which one is in the box.

OKLA OMIGO: More Motor, Less Range

The OMIGO costs Rs 279,000. It has a stronger 1,500W motor than the ONYX, but a slightly lower claimed range. That is a normal trade. A bigger motor pulls more power from the same battery.

OKLA OVA Mid Motor: The Middle of the Range

The OVA at Rs 399,000 moves into a faster class. It uses an NCM battery, which is lighter and gives more range, while LFP usually lasts longer and is safer under heat. That matters in a Pakistani summer. An earlier listing showed different OVA specs, so treat this as a revised version.

OKLA OKG Hub 2000: The Cheaper OKG

This is a lower-powered, cheaper cousin of the regular OKG. It has a motorcycle-style build, disc brakes at both ends and a strong 180 Nm of torque. You can choose a two-battery setup or one big battery.

OKLA OKG Mid Motor: Built for Speed and Range

The OKG at Rs 549,000 is the performance model. It works with two batteries, and the higher range figure only applies with both fitted.

OKLA OMAX Hub Motor: Premium, Hub Style

The OMAX Hub Motor costs Rs 599,000. It is one of two OMAX versions that OKLA now sells with different drive setups. The range is modest for the price, so check if the extra speed is worth it to you.

OKLA OMAX Side Motor: The Top of the Lineup

At Rs 699,000, this is the most expensive OKLA at PAPS. It has the strongest motor and the largest claimed range of the two OMAX models.

EcoDost x Motopai: Five Scooters, One Clear Ladder

EcoDost, working with Motopai, launched five scooters priced from Rs 265,000 to Rs 395,000. This lineup is easy to read. All five use LFP batteries and have disc brakes on both wheels, and all claim about six hours to charge on a 76V 5A charger.

EcoDost City X: The Starter

The City X is the cheapest EcoDost. It suits short daily city trips.

EcoDost X1 Pro: More Power, Same Range

For Rs 10,000 more, the X1 Pro gets a stronger motor. But the claimed range stays the same as the City X. So you are paying for pickup, not distance.

EcoDost Apex: The Value Pick on Paper

The Apex keeps the X1 Pro's motor and adds a larger battery for only Rs 10,000 more. That lifts the claimed range to 90 to 100 km. On paper, this is the best range for the money in the EcoDost line.

EcoDost Quantum: Faster and Still Long-Range

The Quantum moves to a 2,000W motor and a top speed of 65 km/h, while holding the Apex's battery and range.

EcoDost Marshal: Same Guts, Bigger Wheels

The Marshal has the same motor, battery, speed and range as the Quantum. The one hardware change is 14-inch wheels instead of 12-inch. That can help on rough roads. But it costs Rs 70,000 more, so ask yourself if the wheels alone justify that. Some readers already asked the same thing in comments on the launch report.

Also at the Show

Two other brands showed scooters too. ZEEHO, the electric brand from CFMOTO, displayed its EZ3, AE4 and AE7, all launched in February 2026. And Jinpeng revealed the U2 with 1,000W and 1,500W versions, with prices not yet announced and deliveries planned for December 2026.

What Will It Cost You to Ride?

Petrol was around Rs 390 per litre this week, and it dropped Rs 1.93 on September 24. A petrol scooty gives roughly 50 km per litre. That is about Rs 7.8 per km.

Now the electric side. Multiply volts by amp-hours to get the battery size. The EcoDost Apex is 76V x 35Ah, so about 2.66 kWh. If your electricity costs Rs 50 per unit (an example only, so use your own bill), a full charge is about Rs 133. At a real range near 60 km, that is roughly Rs 2.2 per km. Charger losses add a little more.

So the running cost can be a third of petrol or less. But you pay more up front, and batteries wear out over time. Ask what a replacement pack costs before you commit.

The Subsidy Question

A May 2026 buyer guide said the OKT LFP and OMIGO LFP were approved under the PM Electric Bike Scheme, with a Rs 50,000 subsidy. That was months ago. Rules and lists change, so ask the dealer if your exact model still qualifies today.

Which Scooter Fits Which Rider?

Short student or office trips: the OKLA ORA, ORBIT or ONYX, or the EcoDost City X.

Best range for the money: the EcoDost Apex looks strongest on paper, with the OKLA ORBIT close behind.

More speed and pickup: the OKLA OKG Hub 2000, the EcoDost Quantum or the OMIGO.

Highest speed: the OKLA OKG Mid Motor and both OMAX models, which claim 70 to 85 km/h. These cost Rs 549,000 or more.

Longest-lasting battery bet: pick LFP. Every EcoDost and most OKLA models use it. The OVA uses NCM, so ask about heat and life span.

Before You Book: A Short Checklist

• Ask for the exact spec sheet of the version you will get, especially for the ONYX, ORBIT and OVA.

• Ask for the battery warranty in writing, including what counts as a fault.

• Ask where the nearest service point is. One guide says OKLA's service network outside big cities is still growing.

• Ask about spare parts and how long they take.

• Take a test ride with a full load, not just a quick loop.

• Ask if the price includes the charger, registration and any delivery cost.

• Ask if a subsidy or lease plan applies to your model.
