Rs100 Petrol Relief for Motorcycles & Small Cars
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a Rs100 per litre petrol relief for motorcycles, rickshaws, Qingqi and cars up to 800cc. Owners can save up to Rs2,000 or Rs3,000 monthly. The scheme starts in Islamabad and will expand nationwide including AJK and Gilgit-Baltistan. Full registration details are still awaited.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has announced a new petrol relief scheme. It offers Rs100 per litre discount on petrol for motorcycles, rickshaws, Qingqi rickshaws and cars with engines up to 800cc.
Motorcycle and rickshaw owners can get the relief on up to 20 litres of petrol each month. This means a maximum monthly saving of Rs2,000. Owners of small cars with engines up to 800cc can receive the subsidy on up to 30 litres per month. Their maximum monthly saving will be Rs3,000.
The scheme will start first in Islamabad. Later it will expand across the country, including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
Many Pakistani families use these small vehicles every day for work, school and daily travel. Lower fuel costs can ease pressure on household budgets, especially for people who depend on two-wheelers and small cars.
The government has not yet shared full details. It is still unclear how people will register, how ownership will be checked, and how the discount will be given at petrol pumps. More information is expected soon so that eligible owners can benefit without confusion.
This relief targets the most common and affordable vehicles on Pakistani roads. Motorcycles, rickshaws and small 800cc cars form a large part of daily transport in cities and towns. A fixed monthly limit on litres helps control the cost of the scheme while still giving meaningful savings to ordinary citizens.
Once the complete rules are announced, owners should prepare their vehicle documents. Clear registration and verification steps will help the scheme run smoothly when it begins in Islamabad and later moves to other areas.
The Rs100 per litre support is a direct step to reduce fuel expenses for low-engine vehicles. Families and daily wage earners who rely on these vehicles stand to gain the most once the programme is fully rolled out.For more updates, visit DrivePK.com
