Suzuki GSX-10R Revealed With 150 HP Engine

Suzuki has shown the new GSX-10R at EICMA 2026 as a 999cc road-and-track sports bike. It is aimed at riders who want strong liter-class performance without the hard edge of a pure superbike. Global sales are expected to start from summer 2027, but pricing, Pakistan launch plans and local availability are still unconfirmed.

The GSX-10R uses a 999cc liquid-cooled inline-four engine and is said to make around 150 hp at 11,000 rpm with 106 Nm of torque at 9,250 rpm. That puts it below the 200-plus hp level seen on some top-end superbikes, and Suzuki appears to be focusing more on usable power and easier road riding than on extreme headline numbers.

What Suzuki has packed into the GSX-10R

Two features stand out. Slide Control is designed to monitor rear-wheel slip in corners before traction control steps in more sharply. Brake Hold Control can keep the bike stopped for about 30 seconds, which may help on hills, junctions or slow traffic.

The bike also gets a full-color TFT display, smartphone connectivity through Suzuki Ride Connect+, navigation and notification support, LED lighting and USB-C charging.

Chassis and brakes

Suzuki says the GSX-10R uses an aluminum twin-spar frame, an aluminum swingarm, fully adjustable 43mm KYB front forks and a linkage-type rear shock. Braking is handled by twin 310mm front discs with Brembo calipers, while Bridgestone Battlax Hypersport S23 tyres come standard.

The company also claims a 53-degree maximum lean angle, although that is a test figure and not a promise of the same result on public roads.

Suzuki has not announced Pakistan pricing, local assembly plans or a launch date for this model. Readers should not read the summer 2027 global sales window as a Pakistan delivery promise.
