Tesla Roadster Unveiling Confirmed for October 1, 2026

Tesla CEO Elon Musk has confirmed that the next-generation Roadster will be unveiled on October 1, 2026. This comes nearly ten years after the electric sports car was first shown.

Tesla shared the date on X. Musk later confirmed the unveiling in a follow-up post. The new Roadster is being developed as an all-new carbon-fiber hypercar. A limited-edition version may include cold-gas thrusters made with help from SpaceX.

Tesla first announced the second-generation Roadster in 2017. The company planned to start deliveries in 2020. The project has faced many delays and changes in direction since then.
