Air Link Communication Limited has moved into electric mobility with a new bike brand called AirV, launching 11 models across six series in Lahore on November 4, 2026. reportedly the company says the lineup can offer up to 200 kilometers of range, depending on the variant.

That is the main news. The bigger question for buyers is what has not been shared yet: model-wise prices, battery sizes, charging time, booking rules, and delivery plans. Without those details, it is hard to judge whether AirV is ready for daily use or still in the announcement stage.

reportedly on the launch plans, Air Link is using the new brand as part of a wider push into electric mobility: source report on AirV launch plans.

What AirV says it will offer

The launch pitch is built around a few features that many riders will want to compare with petrol bikes. Air Link says the bikes include cruise control, regenerative battery technology, Near Field Communication (NFC), and anti-theft systems.

These features sound useful, but for most Pakistani riders the real test will be more practical. Daily commuters will care more about the real range in traffic, how long the battery takes to charge, whether a spare battery is easy to buy, and if the company can actually support owners after sale. A long range number is helpful, but it does not tell the full story.

The 200-kilometer figure should also be read as a maximum claim, not a promise for every model. Range can change with rider weight, road condition, speed, heat, traffic, and load. Until Air Link publishes model-wise specifications, it is safest to treat the number as a best-case estimate.

Reportedly, Air Link is manufacturing the electric bikes at its facility in Sundar Green Special Economic Zone in Lahore. The company is also presenting AirV as a way to diversify beyond its core mobile-phone business and use its existing production base and nationwide distribution network.

That could help with availability and service reach if the company supports the bikes properly. It may also make it easier to scale the business if demand grows. Still, the long-term success of AirV will depend on details that have not been confirmed yet, such as spare-parts supply, technician coverage, battery replacement cost, and warranty terms.

For readers following Pakistan’s electric-bike market, this launch is another sign that more local and imported EV two-wheelers may be coming. What buyers should wait for

Before anyone books an AirV bike, the important missing details are still the ones that shape total ownership cost:

  • model-wise price

  • battery chemistry and capacity

  • charging time

  • warranty coverage

  • replacement battery cost

  • service-centre locations

  • spare-parts availability

  • registration and financing terms

  • delivery timeline

These points matter most for apartment residents, delivery riders, and fleet buyers. A bike that looks good on paper may still be difficult to own if charging support and service are weak.

Bottom line

AirV is a notable local electric-bike launch, and Air Link is clearly betting on electric mobility as a new growth area. But for buyers, the smart move is to wait for official model-wise prices and full specifications before paying any advance.

For now, the launch is real. The buying decision is not complete yet.
