Arcfox T1 EV & T5 REEV Coming to Pakistan

Sazgar has confirmed plans to bring the Arcfox T1 EV and Arcfox T5 REEV to Pakistan, but key details are still missing. There is no official launch date, no booking plan, and no price yet. For buyers, the big question is simple: should they wait for these new models, or choose an EV that is already on sale?

A senior management at Sazgar confirmed that samples are expected to arrive in about 10 days. The report says the vehicles were first meant to be shown at PAPS 2026, but shipping delays changed that plan. That means the brand is expected to reach Pakistan soon, but this is not the same as a confirmed retail launch.

What the T1 EV could offer

The Arcfox T1 is being described as a subcompact crossover or hatchback with a pure electric setup. Reported details include front-wheel drive, a single motor, and LFP battery choices of 33.4 kWh or 42.3 kWh. Claimed CLTC range figures sit between 320 km and 425 km, while motor output is listed at 70 kW to 95 kW. If it arrives in Pakistan in this form, the T1 could sit against models like the BYD Atto 2, MG4 EV, and Dongfeng Vigo. But buyers should be careful with range claims. CLTC figures are measured in a test cycle, not in daily Lahore, Karachi, or Islamabad traffic. Heat, AC use, load, road conditions, and driving style can all cut real-world range.

What makes the T5 REEV different

The Arcfox T5 REEV is the more interesting model for people worried about charging access. According to the source report, it uses an electric motor to drive the wheels, while a 1.5-litre petrol engine acts as a range extender. Reported figures include 200 kW peak power, 360 Nm torque, a 0–100 km/h time of 6.5 seconds, 215 km of electric range, and a combined CLTC range of 1,215 km.

Other reported features include a 2,845 mm wheelbase, five seats, a 15.6-inch infotainment screen, a 22.8-inch head-up display, and L2 driver assistance. Fast charging from 30% to 80% is said to take 15 minutes. These are model claims, though, and final Pakistan-spec details may change.

Why this matters for Pakistan buyers

Arcfox is a BAIC Group new-energy brand, and it is separate from GWM. The source report says Sazgar already works with both GWM and BAIC in Pakistan, so it may have a useful dealer and assembly base for Arcfox as well. Even so, service support, spare parts, warranty terms, and resale value still need to be spelled out.

That is why buyers should wait for the official announcement before paying any booking amount. Early interest makes sense, but only if the company shares the full package: price, warranty, charging support, delivery timeline, and after-sales network.

For now, the safest move is to shortlist the T1 for city use or the T5 REEV for family travel, but hold off until Sazgar gives clear details. The T1 could widen Pakistan’s compact EV options, while the T5 REEV may appeal to buyers who want electric driving with petrol backup for longer trips.
