DrivePK Bolo: Search Cars by Voice in Pakistan
Typing filters one by one is slow. DrivePK's Bolo feature lets you say what you want, like a white 2022 Corolla, and shows matching listings. Here is how it works, who gains the most, and where voice search can miss.

Think about how you'd ask a friend for help. You wouldn't open a menu. You'd just say, "Find me a white Corolla, 2022 model."
That's the idea behind Bolo, a new voice feature in the DrivePK app. DrivePK calls itself Pakistan's first AI-powered marketplace. With Bolo, you talk and the app does the sorting.
Why Voice Makes Sense Right Now
Car hunting means jumping between apps, retyping the same search, and fighting autocorrect. The market also moves fast. New brands arrive, EVs and hybrids keep appearing, and prices shift with the currency. Anything that cuts the scrolling helps.
Bolo doesn't replace the filters. It gives you a quicker way to reach them.
How to Use It
It takes a few taps and one sentence.
- Open the app and choose Car or Bike.
- Tap the plus button in the middle of the bottom bar.
- Speak in plain words. You can add budget, city or transmission.
- Wait a few seconds while the app turns your speech into filters.
- Review the list. Tap any listing for photos, details and seller contact.
- Speak again, or switch to manual filters, to fine-tune price or mileage.
- Use the chat tab to message the seller.
You don't need formal language. A short line like "white Corolla 2022" works as well as a long one.
The Rest of the App
Bolo sits on top of a layout that stays simple. Car and Bike tabs sit at the top. Below them are picks based on your past searches and budget, a features section for things like sunroof or fuel type, and a list of trending and newly launched vehicles. The bottom bar holds your profile, chat and search.
Who Gains the Most
Older buyers who find typing slow may like it best. Parents with a toddler in the back seat can search without using both hands. And anyone in a hurry, say standing in a showroom or riding as a passenger, can search without stopping to type.
It also helps with tricky model names. Saying a word is often easier than spelling it on a small keyboard.
Where It Can Slip
Voice tools have limits. Background noise, strong accents, and switching between Urdu and English mid-sentence can confuse them. That's true of any voice system.
The good news is you're never stuck. If Bolo misses, the manual filters are one tap away.
The Short Version
Bolo is a simple idea done in a simple way. You speak, and matching cars appear. It won't suit every moment or every accent, but for quick searches it can save real time.
If you've ever lost twenty minutes scrolling for one car, try saying it out loud instead. For more updates, visit DrivePK.com
