Jetour Pakistan Pauses T2 i-DM Bookings After Intro Price Ends

Jetour Pakistan has temporarily stopped taking new bookings for the T2 i-DM plug-in hybrid SUV. The move follows the end of its introductory price on August 31, 2026. The company says orders will stay on hold until the new price is set. Once that happens, bookings will open again.

This comes just weeks after the model built strong early demand. Many buyers who liked the mix of hybrid efficiency, power and boxy looks are now waiting to see what happens next.

Why the Pause Happened

The T2 i-DM launched on July 6, 2026 at an ex-factory price of Rs 12,795,000. Booking amount was Rs 2,500,000. Deliveries were planned to start in September. Within the first 24 hours the company reported more than 1,000 bookings. That response showed clear interest in a plug-in hybrid that sits under Rs 13 million while offering modern features.

The introductory price period ended on August 31. Like many launches, the early price was set to attract attention and fill the order books. Once that window closed, Jetour decided to pause new orders while it finalises the regular price. This is common when currency rates, import costs or policy changes affect final numbers.

Buyers who already booked under the old terms keep their place. New customers will have to wait for the updated figure and then place fresh orders.

What the T2 i-DM Actually Offers

The T2 i-DM is a mid-size five-seater SUV with a rugged, boxy design. It looks closer to adventure vehicles than soft road crossovers. Under the skin it uses a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine paired with a plug-in hybrid system and a 3-speed dedicated hybrid transmission.

Combined output is 360 horsepower and 610 Nm of torque. The battery is an 18.4 kWh lithium iron phosphate unit. Official pure electric range is 90 km on the NEDC cycle. Safety includes Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise, lane keep, automatic emergency braking and more), six airbags and a 540-degree camera system with transparent chassis view. Front seats are ventilated with memory on the driver’s side. A large panoramic sunroof is part of the package.

Jetour has been expanding its dealer network at the same time. After-sales training for the T2 i-DM was already under way in July. A line-off ceremony for CKD production took place in late August. Still, the real test comes after deliveries begin. Parts availability, service quality and residual values will decide whether the early interest turns into lasting demand.
