MG pulled the cover off the Binguo EV at PAPS 2025 in Karachi. This small hatchback runs on electricity. It comes from the same team that makes MG cars, SAIC-GM-Wuling. They built it as Wuling first, but MG brings it here. And it's timed right. EVs grow fast in Pakistan. Fuel hurts the wallet. This one keeps costs low.

Why It Fits City Life

Think short trips. To work. To the market. The Binguo handles that. Its 50 kW motor pushes quietly and smoothly. Battery holds 31.9 kWh. LFP type, safe and long-lasting. Range reaches 333 km on CLTC tests. That's enough for a week's drive in Lahore traffic.

Charging? Plug in at home overnight. Or fast charge to 80% in under an hour at stations. Pakistan has more spots now, but home setup works best.

Inside and Out

The look stays simple. Compact body. Fits tight parking. Inside, two 10.25-inch screens run the show, one for the dash, one for the maps. Keyless entry means no fumbling with keys. Seats fold flat. Storage hides phones and bags easily.

Safety covers basics. Dual airbags. ABS brakes. Stability control. Rear camera for backups. ISOFIX for kid seats. Higher trims add range or power. The Binguo S stretches further.

No price yet. MG shows it for feedback first. Expect under PKR 3 million. Bookings soon. Deliveries in early 2026.

The U9 Pickup Joins In

MG didn't stop there. They showed the U9 too. This diesel pickup goes big. 2.5L turbo engine. 215 hp. 520 Nm torque. ZF 8-speed box shifts smoothly. 4x4 locks for rough roads.

The bed hauls 1 ton. Tow up to 3,500 kg. Inside, a 12.3-inch screen. JBL sound. Panoramic roof. Seven airbags. L2 driver aids.

It is the Toyota Revo and the Isuzu D-Max. Booking at PKR 8 million now. Show views at PAPS till November 16. Launch in January 2026.

What This Means for You

The Binguo opens doors. EVs for everyday folks. No more gas stops. U9 tackles workloads. MG covers both ends, city zip, and heavy lift.

But think ahead. Charging spots matter. Service networks grow. Head to PAPS if nearby. Touch one. Feel the shift.
