The Jaecoo J5 BEV Premium Plus appeared as a locally assembled electric crossover. A single front motor produces 155 kW (207.8 hp) and 288 Nm. Drive goes to the front wheels. The claimed 0–100 km/h time is 7.7 seconds. The 58.9 kWh battery is rated for 461 km on the NEDC cycle. Charging support includes 11 kW AC and 130 kW DC. An 11 kW charger comes with the car.

Equipment includes ventilated and powered front seats, a panoramic roof, a 13.2-inch infotainment screen, a 540-degree camera and a full ADAS package. Dimensions are 4,380 mm long, 1,860 mm wide and 1,650 mm tall with a 2,620 mm wheelbase. Luggage space starts at 480 litres.
