Porsche 911 GT3 Gets Faster, Thanks to the New Manthey Kit

Porsche and Manthey have launched a new factory-approved performance kit for the 992.2 GT3, adding major aero, suspension, and braking upgrades. The result? Nearly four seconds shaved off the Nürburgring lap time without voiding your warranty.

Porsche and Manthey just released a new performance pack for the latest 992.2 GT3. Install it, and your road-legal GT3 turns into a track weapon – and you keep the full factory warranty.

No catch. Porsche approves every part.

What You Actually Get

  • Bigger front splitter with extra dive planes

  • Wider carbon rear wing plus a Gurney flap on top

  • New diffuser underneath

  • Carbon aerodiscs that cover the rear wheel bolts (they look cool and add a little downforce)

  • Fully adjustable coilover suspension with stiffer springs and special valves

  • Steel brake lines and stickier Michelin Cup 2 R tires as an option

That’s it. Bolt it on, set it up, go fast.

How Much Faster Is It?

On the Nürburgring Nordschleife, the upgraded car lapped in 6:52.981.

The old 992.1 GT3 with the previous Manthey kit did 6:55–6:56 on a good day. The standard 992.2 GT3 runs around 6:56–6:58.

So this new package just took almost four seconds off the time. Four seconds on the Ring is a huge gap.

Downforce Numbers That Matter

At 124 mph in full track setup, the car now makes 1,190 pounds of downforce. That’s roughly double what a normal GT3 produces.

You feel it in fast corners. The car sticks harder, you brake later, and you carry more speed where it counts.

You Still Drive It on the Street

Switch the wing and suspension to road settings, and the car calms down. Ground clearance stays legal. Noise levels don’t change. You can still use it every day if you want.

Most owners won’t. They’ll just leave it in track mode and enjoy the sharper feel.

Price and Where to Get It

The full kit costs around €68,000 in Europe (about $75,000 USD before tax). In the U.S., it will land close to $85,000 once it’s released here.

Porsche dealerships that carry Manthey parts do the install. It takes two or three days.

Why Porsche Lets Manthey Do This

Manthey is half-owned by Porsche now. The two teams work together from the start. Every change gets tested by Porsche engineers, so the factory warranty stays intact.

You don’t lose coverage like you would with most aftermarket kits.

Real-World Difference

Drivers who tested the car say the biggest change is confidence. The front end bites harder into turns, the rear stays planted under braking, and the whole car feels glued past 150 mph.

On public roads, the ride is firmer, but not teeth-rattling. You notice it most when you push.

The Bottom Line

If you already own a 992.2 GT3 and you track it, this kit is the easiest way to go faster without buying a GT3 RS or a Cup car.

Four seconds quicker around the Ring for the price of a decent used Cayman. Most owners will call that a deal.

The kit is expected to start shipping in early 2026. Order books are already filling up.
