Honda 2027 Bikes Revealed at EICMA 2026

Honda used EICMA 2026 in Milan to show one of its widest motorcycle lineups in years. The reveal includes a redesigned Africa Twin family, a heavily updated Fireblade, the V3R 900 E-Compressor, the ADV125, the CBR500R FOUR, the RN0 electric-assist mountain bike and the EV OUTLIER concept. Africa Twin gets a bigger engine and rider assistance

The new Africa Twin family is led by the CRF1150L Africa Twin, which now uses a 1,131cc parallel-twin engine. Honda says output is 87.5 kW and 119 Nm.

Reportedly, the family now has three versions:

• CRF1150L Africa Twin

• Africa Twin Adventure Sports

• Africa Twin Enduro Sports

Honda has also cut weight in the frame and swingarm by about 1.4 kg. The Adventure Sports version keeps its road-touring focus with a 24-litre fuel tank and a 19-inch front wheel. The Enduro Sports model moves more toward off-road use, with suspension direction taken from the CRF450 RALLY.

Honda SENSING RIDE is the big safety news

One of the most important updates is Honda SENSING RIDE. The Africa Twin Adventure Sports DCT will be the first Honda motorcycle announced with this system.

It uses millimetre-wave radar at the front and rear to help with features such as:

• adaptive cruise control

• stop-and-go assistance

• group ride assist

• blind-spot information

• emergency brake assist

• forward collision warning

This does not mean the bike rides itself. Instead, it is meant to support the rider in traffic and on long trips, especially on the DCT version.

Fireblade gets a major rethink

Honda says around 75% of the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade has been newly designed. The 999cc inline-four remains, but the bike now gets a two-stage variable-length intake funnel system.

Honda says the intake changes above 11,750 rpm to help balance low-speed response and top-end power. The frame and swingarm have also been retuned, with lateral rigidity reduced to improve feedback.

The Fireblade SP and HRC Works Edition were also shown. The Works Edition includes carbon-fibre aero parts, Öhlins suspension and Brembo Hypure Sports brakes.

V3R 900 E-Compressor moves closer to production

The V3R 900 E-Compressor is one of Honda’s most unusual new models. It uses an electronically controlled compressor instead of a normal exhaust-driven turbocharger.

That setup gives engineers more control over boost delivery, which may help throttle response, though Honda is presenting this as an engineering direction rather than a final market promise.

The bike also gets a redesigned Honda RoadSync interface with AI-powered voice controls.

Smaller models aim at different riders

Honda also showed the ADV125 and CBR500R FOUR.

The ADV125 uses a 125cc eSP+ engine, a 5-inch TFT display and RoadSync support. It is aimed mainly at city use and European A1 licence rules.

The CBR500R FOUR brings a four-cylinder middleweight layout and Honda E-Clutch, which reduces clutch work in stop-start riding.

Honda’s electric plans go beyond motorcycles

Honda also introduced the RN0 premium electric-assist mountain bike, developed with ROTWILD, and the EV OUTLIER concept. The EV OUTLIER uses in-wheel motors and is described as a 2030-and-beyond design idea, not a near-term production model.

For Pakistan, the real question is not whether these bikes are exciting. It is whether any of them will come here, and at what cost.

Radar systems, DCT tech and the new compressor setup could also mean more service complexity and parts needs. Import duties and currency changes would shape final prices even if a model reaches the market.
