PAPS 2026 Highlights: Chery Q, Haval H6 GT, Fronx ADAS + Jaecoo J5 BEV Debut

The Pakistan Auto Show 2026 opened on September 18 at Expo Centre Lahore and will run until September 20. According to source reports, three models arrived with official prices at the event: the Chery Q, Haval H6 GT PHEV, and Suzuki Fronx ADAS. Several other vehicles were also shown, but their prices were not confirmed.

For buyers, that matters because PAPS is often full of previews and concept-style reveals, but only a few launches come with a real number you can plan around. Right now, these three are the only ones that can be discussed as priced market entries with any confidence.

Chery Q: electric hatchback, but not a tiny one

The Chery Q is priced at Rs. 5,554,000. According to source reports, it is an all-electric hatchback that brings back the old QQ nameplate. It also comes with self-parking, which will appeal to city drivers who want an easier daily commute.

Its size is part of the story too. The Q is listed at 4,195 mm long, 1,811 mm wide, 1,568 mm tall, and 2,700 mm in wheelbase. That means it is not as small as many people may expect from a hatchback badge. For buyers, the key question is whether Chery can back this launch with clear battery, range, charging, warranty, and service support details.

Haval H6 GT PHEV: the premium-priced sportier choice

The Haval H6 GT PHEV has been announced at Rs. 12,949,000. According to a source report, it is the coupé-style version of the H6 family and sits as a sportier, more premium option. It is also described by the company as a stronger model than the regular H6 PHEV, though torque details should be checked from the full official sheet before buyers treat that as a complete spec comparison.

A source report also said the model has been sold in markets such as Australia, New Zealand, Thailand, Brazil and South Africa. It added that Sazgar COO Ali Hameed said the vehicle was originally developed for Australia, with an Australian engineer involved in suspension tuning.

Suzuki Fronx ADAS: a better-equipped top trim

Its main additions are Level 1 ADAS and new seat upholstery. That makes it an equipment-led update rather than a full model change. Jaecoo J5 BEV Premium Plus: strong specs, but still unpriced

The Jaecoo J5 BEV Premium Plus was also on display, emerging as the top electric crossover variant in the J5 lineup. Unlike the three models above, no Pakistani price, booking amount, or delivery timeline has been announced for it yet.

According to source reports, it is a locally assembled electric crossover using a 58.9 kWh battery and a 155 kW (207.8 hp) front-mounted motor with 288 Nm torque, good for a claimed 0-100 km/h time of 7.7 seconds. It also carries a claimed range of 461 km, though that figure is based on the NEDC cycle rather than real-world testing.

The variant comes loaded with features such as a 13.2-inch infotainment screen, ventilated powered front seats, a panoramic roof, and a full ADAS suite including adaptive cruise control and autonomous emergency braking. A reported 8-year/160,000 km battery warranty adds to the pitch. For buyers, the appeal is clear, but like several other cars shown at PAPS 2026, the real decision will have to wait until Jaecoo confirms an official price.

What is still not confirmed

According to sources, the event confirms prices for these three vehicles only. It does not confirm booking amounts, delivery dates, fuel or electricity running costs, warranty terms, financing plans, dealership coverage, or full technical sheets for all three models. Other cars on display may still get prices later, so unofficial figures should be treated with caution.
